Job summary

The Suddath Companies in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an HR Generalist to support onsite operations and frontline staff. You will provide HR services across the employee lifecycle, interpret policies, assist with investigations, onboarding, and payroll reconciliation, and collaborate with operations and recruiting teams.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR and at least 3 years of HR experience, with Workday familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years in an HR-focused role with employee relations experience.
• Workday experience preferred; ability to manage confidential information.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, laws, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline HR support for on-site staff and supervisors.
• Interpret and communicate company policies to managers and employees.
• Guide employee relations matters and escalate complex issues.
• Support onboarding, job postings, and staffing with Recruiting.
• Assist with payroll discrepancies and HRIS transactions.
• Prepare reports and support special HR projects.
