Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking an HR Generalist to support on-site operations in the Jacksonville area. You will act as a visible HR resource for frontline employees, guiding managers on policies and employee relations while partnering with recruiting and operations to support staffing and onboarding.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, at least 3 years in HR, and familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Management, Business Management, or related field strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role is required.
Experience handling employee relations is preferred. Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline HR support for on-site team as needed.
Interpret and communicate company policies to managers and employees.
Address employee relations matters and assist with investigations as needed.
Oversee onboarding of new employees and collaborate with Recruiting on staffing.
Process HRIS changes and transactions in accordance with internal policies.
Resolve payroll-related discrepancies with employees and managers.
Support performance reviews, open enrollment, and referral programs.
