Job summary

Suite Living Hospice Care is seeking an experienced Hospice Business Development Manager to drive growth across 21 senior care communities in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area.

The role focuses on developing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, increasing hospice census, and strengthening relationships with housing directors, clinical staff, residents and families. You will lead outreach, educate on hospice benefits, and collaborate with clinical and operations leaders to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hospice experience.
• Strong understanding of hospice regulations, eligibility criteria, and care delivery.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence without authority.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred experience in hospice sales, marketing, or business development.
• Experience in senior living or assisted living environments.
• Demonstrated success in growing census or program utilization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive hospice growth strategy to increase census across all Suite Living communities.
• Establish measurable goals, KPIs, and accountability metrics to track progress toward 100+ patients.
• Analyze trends, referral patterns, and barriers to hospice adoption, adjusting strategy accordingly.
• Build relationships with housing directors, nurse managers, clinical staff, residents and families.
• Serve as primary liaison between Suite Living Hospice Care and Suite Living Senior Care communities.
• Conduct regular onsite visits across all 21 locations to drive engagement and visibility.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on hospice benefits, eligibility, and philosophy.
• Provide in-services and training to community teams to improve referrals.
• Ensure ethical, patient-centered discussions that respect resident-choice.
