Job summary

Tyson Foods Robards Plant is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across all shifts. The role rotates 3-day and 4-day workweeks with 12-hour shifts, offering a pay range of $24.10–$30.15 per hour based on experience.

You will support continuous production by keeping machinery running and performing set-up, adjustments, and breakdowns. Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of mechanical experience or be a graduate/student of an industrial

• Graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
• Must be willing to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting 70 lbs., and working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
• Learn Tyson SAP software to create work orders and document in the system.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers.
• Perform math as needed for machinery calculations (capacities, etc.).

Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
