Job summary

Lillibridge Healthcare Services Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical work and general property upkeep in healthcare environments.

You will manage maintenance systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety and tenant satisfaction, working onsite five days a week, with on-call rotations. The role requires technical training, EPA 608 certification, and a minimum of two years of related experience; competitive pay and benefits are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational maintenance training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environments.
• EPA 608 Type I or II certification required.
• Must be located in Washington, DC area.
• On-site 5 days a week with after-hours emergencies and on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walking.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance/work order software.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders using work order software
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues safely and efficiently
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts
• Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members regarding building needs
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Support the Supervisor/Property Manager in monitoring building operations and vendor performance
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
