Job summary

IAPMO Group is seeking a Construction Manager (CM-CA) to support the VA's EHRM infrastructure upgrade at Martinsburg VAMC in West Virginia. This full-time, onsite role provides professional construction management, QA, and technical oversight for large healthcare facility renovations.

You will perform field inspections, manage documentation, support QA, and ensure OSHA and VA design standards are met. You will coordinate with the VA Resident Engineer and COR, review schedules and cost data, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of field construction experience.
• Experience with healthcare, federal, or complex facilities construction preferred.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules, and cost data.
• Proficiency with CM tools (P6, TRIRIGA, PlanGrid, SharePoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; prepare clear daily reports.
• Knowledge of building codes and QA principles.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for VA PIV badge and NACI background check.
• OSHA 30 required within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections and document progress.
• Support VA RE and COR with construction administration.
• Monitor project financial data and forecasting.
• Review schedules, track slippages, and recommend actions.
• Lead weekly progress meetings with contractors.
• Ensure QA, safety, and VA design standards.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and close-out docs.
• Maintain records in VA systems.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for COR and RE.
• Participate in design reviews and value engineering.
• Ensure OSHA, Joint Commission, and VA safety compliance.
