Job summary

Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at a construction-site clinic in Maiden, NC. This PRN role covers Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with hours varying by client needs.

Ideal candidates are comfortable in a construction setting, able to climb stairs and work at heights, and possess strong communication skills. Training and growth opportunities are highlighted as part of Medcor’s culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure for EMT or Paramedic.
• CPR/BLS certification current and valid.
• Be able to lift 50 lb and assist with emergency equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a construction environment.
• Willingness to work on-site at client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor Care Protocols.
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Perform Physical Assessment Tests (PATs).
• Engage in case management as needed.
• Maintain medical charting and records.
• Assist with OSHA record-keeping.
