Job summary

Medcor is seeking a part-time Onsite Health Technician (EMT/Paramedic) for our construction-site clinic in Conover, NC. Hours are Mon-Fri 7am-6pm and Sat 7am-4pm, with potential variation by client needs; up to 2 shifts weekly.

Work requires comfort in a construction environment, stairs and occasional work at heights. Responsibilities include patient care, workers' compensation case management, Return to Work program facilitation, and collaboration with medical and operational leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have valid licensure for the position.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Ability to lift a 50 lb bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses per MCPs.
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Documentation of care using EMR and other tools.
• Medical charting.
• OSHA record-keeping.
