Job summary

Amazon in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to support Workplace Health & Safety operations. You will provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate referrals to outside care as needed, while learning OSHA regulations and workers' compensation processes.

As part of the WHS team, you will participate in safety meetings, maintain medical records, and support on-site emergency response with flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid BLS certification from an approved ECC provider; and EMT or Paramedic Certification; OR Current Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for injuries.
• Maintain daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership on operations floor to coach on safe practices.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean work environment.
• Assist with first aid, CPR and AED training/certifications.
