Job summary

Amazon's Workplace Health & Safety team in Middletown, PA is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to provide first aid, coordinate workers' comp, and coach on safety practices. You will work with WHS Site Manager and specialists, respond to injuries, and support daily operations on site.

The role requires BLS, EMT/paramedic or athletic trainer credentials, professional recordkeeping, and ability to lift up to 49 pounds; shifts may include days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic certification or Athletic Trainer certification.
• Authorized to teach first aid, CPR and AED training.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize risk through education and engagement on the shop floor.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach leadership on observed at-risk work habits.
• Maintain clean medical area and supply inventory.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Assist emergency response on site.
