Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety team is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative in Ocala, FL to provide first aid, guidance on injuries, and referrals to external providers. You will support safety operations, perform daily logs, and participate in weekly safety reviews to uphold Amazon’s safety standards.

The role requires BLS plus EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials, ability to work flexible shifts, and strong recordkeeping and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider and must have EMT or Paramedic certification or Athletic Trainer certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs with work-related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on the floor to coach on observed at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and appropriate medical supply inventory.
• Participate in training and certification for first aid, CPR, and AED.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist on-site emergency response.
