Job summary

PacAero in Agawam, MA seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. You will work hands-on on the floor, investigate issues, lead root cause/CAPA efforts, and partner across manufacturing and engineering to prevent recurrence.

The role involves analyzing data, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement in a high-reliability aerospace environment. Onsite, day shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 3–7 years of direct Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated/high-precision environments and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Investigate nonconformances and lead root-cause analysis with CAPA.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Review drawings, specs, and manufacturing docs to ensure quality.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits including AS9100/Nadcap.
• Lead continuous improvement to strengthen quality systems and processes.
