Job summary

PacAero (Litron, LLC) is seeking a 2nd shift QC Inspector (Machining) in Agawam, MA. You will inspect high-precision machined components used in critical aerospace applications to meet engineering, customer and quality requirements before production moves forward.

You will work with Machining, Quality and Engineering to identify issues, support root-cause investigations, and ensure quality parts move through production with proper documentation and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• 1–5 years of quality inspection experience preferred.
• Experience inspecting precision CNC machined components is highly preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment and GD&T is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final visual, dimensional, and microscopic inspections of precision machined and plated components.
• Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, Visual CMMs, and inspection microscopes.
• Interpret drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records; communicate discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
