Job summary

PacAero (Litron, LLC) in Agawam, MA is seeking a Weekend Shift QC Inspector (Machining) to inspect high-precision components for aerospace applications. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs, ensuring conformance to drawings and quality requirements.

Ideal candidates have experience with GD&T, reading engineering drawings, and strong attention to detail. This full-time onsite role provides weekend work with a shift differential and a robust

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• 1–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience inspecting precision CNC machined components strongly preferred.
• Experience inspecting electroplated components or working in a plating environment is highly valued.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final visual, dimensional, and microscopic inspections of precision machined and plated components.
• Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and applicable customer requirements.
• Use precision measuring and inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, gage pins, optical comparators, Visual CMMs, inspection microscopes, and other applicable tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
• Verify parts meet customer, engineering, dimensional, workmanship, and quality requirements.
• Identify and document nonconforming material and complete required quality documentation, including rework and nonconformance reports.
