Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Lab Computing Analyst to provide consulting and IT support at their client site in Emeryville, CA. This full-time position involves working directly with customers to analyze needs and deliver solutions while ensuring compliance and validation.

The ideal candidate will have a degree related to biotechnology or pharmaceuticals, excellent communication skills, and at least two years of relevant experience. The role offers a competitive compensation package including benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience including 1 year in software development and testing.
• Familiarity with Unix, Windows, MVS operating systems.
• Experience in business requirement analysis and gathering.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements management and onsite validation/compliance support.
• Act as a customer liaison and provide IT consulting.
• Provide onsite lab IT support and perform break/fix for instrumentation systems.

Skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects

Knowledge of laboratory safety practices

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Bio-technology, Bio-medical, Chemical
