Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is seeking a part-time lab support and customer service role in Corvallis, OR. You will help manage inventory, process orders, and assist with routine lab operations, contributing to timely turnaround of glassware and consumables.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or GED), 2+ years in related work or a bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Familiarity with GMP environments and SAP/Oracle/Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling; equivalent work experience acceptable, or a bachelor's degree acceptable to replace work experience

Responsabilités

• Collect, clean, and return laboratory glassware; ensure timely turnaround of dirty glassware from labs.
• Establish and manage consumable stocking locations to ensure consistent availability.
• Oversee daily inventory of lab consumables; restock and organize as necessary.
• Utilize barcode scanning systems to place and track product orders.
• Receive, unpack, and organize incoming supplies; dispose of packaging materials appropriately.
• Place procurement orders on behalf of customers using Avantor Inventory Manager Systems.
• Monitor and manage inventory metrics including inventory turns, overhead, and customer expenditures.
