Job summary

Avantor's Advanced Laboratory Services is seeking a Laboratory Support professional to assist with glass wash operations, autoclave maintenance, and inventory control in a Cambridge lab environment. The role supports procurement, stocking, and compliant lab operations while collaborating with teams to ensure efficient lab workflow.

The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and the ability to work independently or within a team, with a Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM shift and an hourly pay range

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
2+ years of laboratory support, inventory, or operations experience.
Experience with inventory management systems and procurement processes.
Able to lift and move lab items; strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable with computers; Teams experience a plus.
Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Power BI, and other inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Perform glass wash operations and maintain labware inventory.
Operate and maintain autoclaves with proper documentation.
Keep lab support areas clean and organized; ensure consumables are stocked.
