Job summary

Avantor Cambridge is seeking a capable Lab Support Associate to join our Advanced Laboratory Services team. You will perform lab work and support operations to help science move faster, reporting to the Territory Area Manager and collaborating with our lab professionals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in lab support or inventory roles, strong organizational skills, and experience with SAP/Oracle/Power BI. This on-site role offers health benefits, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in laboratory support, inventory, or operations
• Experience with inventory management systems and procurement processes
• Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, moving cylinders, stocking supplies)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Perform and support glass wash operations and labware handling
• Operate autoclaves and document sterilization cycles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab support areas
• Ensure lab consumables are stocked and accessible
• Manage in-lab inventory and replenishment planning
• Create and manage purchase orders and track deliveries
• Coordinate with suppliers for compliant deliveries
• Track and report key inventory metrics
