Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Trainer to be onsite at our training center in Sussex, Wisconsin. The role delivers comprehensive training to technicians on generator repair and installation, guiding start-up, operation, and troubleshooting across Generac products.

The position requires creating curricula, writing manuals, and collaborating with internal teams. Occasional travel may be required; possession of a DOT driver (Non CDL) credential is noted in duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years field technician experience in HVAC or generator.
• 3 years combined field tech and training experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct technicians in generator repair and installation.
• Develop and present training curriculum.
• Write and review technical manuals and bulletins.
• Establish warranty flat rates for prototypes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to fabricate training units.
• DOT driver (Non CDL).
• Other duties as assigned.
