Job summary

Generac is seeking a Technical Service Trainer to deliver comprehensive training to technicians at our service training center in Sussex, Wisconsin. The role focuses on generator repair, start-up, and troubleshooting, leveraging strong technical writing and presentation skills.

This on-site position supports Generac products and collaborates with the Service Training team. The trainer will develop curricula, document procedures, and deliver hands-on instruction, ensuring technicians gain

Qualifications

• MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) experience writing and presenting technical information.
• Experience developing and presenting training curricula.
• Ability to develop testing plans and troubleshoot generator start-up procedures.

Responsibilities

• Instruct/Train technicians in all aspects of generator repair and installation.
• Develop and present technical training curriculum.
• Write and review technical documentation such as owner, installation, diagnostic and service/training bulletins.
• Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes.
• Work with internal departments to fabricate training units.
• DOT driver (Non CDL).
• Other duties as assigned.
