Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Trainer to deliver comprehensive training to technicians onsite at our service training center in Sussex, Wisconsin.

You will guide start-up, operation, and troubleshooting procedures across Generac products, while developing curricula and documentation. The role emphasizes technical instruction, curriculum development, and collaboration with multiple internal teams to ensure high-quality training programs and documentation for service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator or similar discipline.
• Or 3 years combined field technician experience and technical training experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Curriculum development experience (preferred).
• Technician Excellence or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification (preferred).
• Previous experience using SAP or ERP (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Instruct/Train technicians in all aspects of generator repair and installation.
• Develop and present technical training curriculum.
• Write and review technical documentation such as owner, installation, diagnostic and flat rate manuals and service and training bulletins.
• Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes.
• Work with internal departments to fabricate training units.
