Datavant is seeking a Health Information Specialist to support front desk operations and Release of Information (ROI) services at a single onsite healthcare location in Washington, DC. This patient-facing role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant handling of medical record requests.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate basic office equipment and computers.

Responsibilities

• Front desk contact for patient walk-ins and ROI requests.
• Provide phone support to patients, providers, and authorized requestors.
• Process Release of Information requests accurately and timely.
• Fax, scan, and manage medical record requests; burn images to CDs as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adhere to privacy regulations.
