Job summary

Doka USA, Ltd. in Tomball, TX, seeks a Project Engineer to plan, design, and execute formwork projects on-site at our Southwest branch.

You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure successful implementation of formwork solutions that meet project requirements. Responsibilities include creating detailed CAD drawings, models, and calculations with AutoCAD and Revit, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• PE license is a major plus; strong CAD/RevIt skills are required.
• Experience in formwork and shoring design in construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans and designs for formwork and shoring systems based on project specifications.
• Create drawings, models, and calculations using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients regarding formwork solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address technical challenges.
• Identify and select appropriate formwork materials based on project requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress and address risks to keep projects on track.
