Job summary

Doka USA is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and execution of formwork and shoring solutions from our Dallas (McKinney) branch. You will work with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and safety standards.

The role is on-site at the Dallas McKinney location, reporting to the Engineering Manager. A PE license is a major plus and knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or related field.
• Experience in formwork and shoring design in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with CAD software, structural analysis tools, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define requirements.
• Develop detailed formwork/shoring designs using CAD software and calculations.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals on technical challenges.
• Select appropriate materials based on project needs and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.
