Job summary

Doka USA is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, design, and execute formwork and shoring solutions from our Dallas branch in McKinney, TX. This on-site role involves collaborating with clients, project managers, and construction teams to meet project requirements and exceed expectations.

You will develop detailed drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and Revit, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Proven experience in formwork and shoring design in construction.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD), structural analysis tools, and project management software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand requirements and objectives.
• Develop detailed formwork and shoring designs using CAD/Revit and calculations.
• Provide technical guidance on formwork solutions to project teams and clients.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address challenges.
• Select appropriate formwork/shoring materials based on project needs and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
