Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. seeks an On-site Service Technician II focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services. You will conduct inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Requirements include high school or GED, 1–3 years related experience, and 2 certifications. You will work in a field environment with some travel and use hand tools to service equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 certifications (manufacturer/state) in related field.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hose, gas detectors, respiratory equipment, fall protection, eyewash units).
• Prepare technician worksheets and reports accurately and on time.
• Provide customer service and ensure proper invoicing documentation.
• Maintain required documentation and certifications, and stay current with OSHA/NFPA regulations.
