Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc is seeking a Fire Protection Service Tech I - IFR (Extinguishers) to perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on safety equipment for established customers in the Vallen Safety Services group. You will handle service calls, prepare worksheets, and ensure accurate documentation for invoicing.

The role requires basic qualifications in safety equipment maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with hand tools in varied environments, indoors

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 certifications (manufacturer/state).
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to repair and service equipment.
• Proficient with hand tools and able to read English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, gas detection, respiratory, fall protection, showers/eyewash).
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets and reports for invoicing.
• Provide customer service in life safety equipment servicing and documentation management.
• Ensure all required documentation is complete and available to customers.
