Job summary

Vallen in Sulphur, LA is seeking an On-site Service Technician II focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory safety equipment. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and hands-on mechanical aptitude. You will use tools, maintain documentation, and ensure regulatory standards (OSHA/NFPA) are followed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls.
• Identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Inspect, test, maintain and repair life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, gas detectors, respirators, fall protection, eyewash units).
• Provide testing/repair documentation for invoicing.
• Ensure customers have required documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA/NFPA regulations and Vallen SOPs.
• Assist in warehouse tasks and asset handling.
