Job summary

Vallen is seeking an On-site Service Technician II focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services within the Vallen Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years related experience, hold 2 certifications, and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and reliable communication skills to support customers across field assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Life Safety Equipment.
• Ability to repair and service equipment sold by Vallen.
• Maintain minimum productivity of 95% within 60 days.
• Current Motor Vehicle License with good driving record; CDL if carrying hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls.
• Identifying equipment discrepancies.
• Preparing accurate and timely Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Providing customer service in the area of Inspecting, Testing, Maintenance and Repairs of Life Safety Equipment.
• Responsible for providing the testing and repair documentation and ensuring it is filled out accurately, completely and turned in for proper invoicing.
• Responsible for ensuring the customer has all required copies of all required documentation upon servicing equipment.
• Assist warehouse personnel with order fulfillment if needed.
