Job summary

TAM Residential in Plano, TX seeks a Field Transitions Manager to lead property takeovers from pre-transition readiness to post-takeover stabilization. You will operate as the onsite extension of the Asset Transitions department, coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure smooth transitions.

This role requires hands-on support for two weeks up to 30 days per takeover, 90% travel across TAM communities, and strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in multifamily property management or transitions.
• Onsite experience required for transitions.
• Experience with Entrata or similar property management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite representative during property takeovers.
• Manage the onsite transition checklist and coordinate with teams.
• Verify Day 1 readiness: access, systems, and communications.
• Provide hands-on support to newly transitioned site teams.
• Oversee go-live activities and post-takeover tasks.
• Monitor licenses, permits and system readiness.
• Travel 90% to communities across the TAM portfolio.
