Job summary

Technology Lab in Miami, FL is seeking a Tier 1 Onsite Field Tech to support a network of K-12 charter schools. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, and providing responsive on-site IT support.

You will collaborate with Tier 2/3 staff, handle tickets, and ensure documentation. A high school diploma is required, 1–2 years in tech support, and CompTIA A+ is preferred. The work is 100% onsite with occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Macs, PCs, and Chromebooks.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to clients.
• Install and configure network hardware, projectors, and other AV equipment.
• Diagnose minor A/V issues such as HDMI and doc cams.
• Document and communicate client interactions and resolutions.
• Collaborate with Tier 2/3 techs to resolve complex issues.
