Job summary

TECHNOLOGY LAB, LLC is seeking a Tier 1 Onsite Field Tech to support a network of K-12 charter schools in the Miami area. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, including network devices, projectors, and AV gear, working closely with Tier 2 and 3 techs, and providing excellent customer service.

The position is 100% onsite with a typical schedule of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to clients.
• Install and configure hardware and software including network hardware, access points, projectors, doc cams, and charging carts.
• Diagnose minor A/V issues (HDMI, projectors, doc cams).
• Handle help desk tickets and escalate as needed.
• Document client interactions and resolutions; maintain communication with QA teams.
