Job summary

Copy Systems Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician (Office & Mailing Equipment) to install, maintain, and repair commercial copiers, printers, and mailing systems at client sites.

The role combines hands-on electro-mechanical repair with customer-facing support and basic network integration. Responsibilities include on-site installation, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, network configuration, user training, inventory control, and accurate service ticketing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree or Vocational Certification in Electronics, Mechanical Repair, or IT preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and familiarity with meters and hand tools.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, print drivers, and OS connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Installation & setup: on-site installation, configuration, and network integration of equipment at client locations.
• Diagnostics & repair: diagnose mechanical, electrical, and firmware failures; replace worn components and clear jams.
• Preventive maintenance: scheduled cleanings, lubrication, calibration checks, and firmware updates.
• Network & software configuration: configure IP addresses, print drivers, and network settings for devices.
• Customer training and field logistics: educate end-users, manage inventory, and log service tickets in the ERP system.
