Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite diagnostic and analytical support across a defined territory. You will respond to system failures with hardware testing, SAN analysis, and configuration assessment, and be available 24/7 per SLA.

The role requires lifting and mobility, on-call rotations, and travel up to 75% within the territory. You will review logs, perform remote diagnostics when possible, and coordinate with the support center to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OEM data center hardware experience.
• Proven field service and customer-facing experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills across hardware, SAN, and system configs.
• Willingness to work on-call and travel within territory.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• CompTIA A+ and Server+ required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides onsite technical support and diagnosis.
• Responds to customer service needs promptly.
• Interprets logs and performs remote diagnostics.
• Maintains communication with customer support during repairs.
• Coordinates parts and documentation to minimize downtime.
• Manages inventory counts and bi-yearly audits.
