Job summary

Park Place Technologies, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support data center hardware and storage systems across a defined territory. You will diagnose, repair and maintain servers, storage devices and related infrastructure on-site at client sites within a 120-mile radius, with after-hours on-call coverage as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, physical ability for field work, and the capacity to travel regularly.

Qualifications

• Experience with OEM data center hardware and ability to grasp new products
• Prior field service experience in data center environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills; CompTia A+ and Server+ preferred
• Availability for after-hours, on-call rotation to support customers
• Must have a valid driver’s license and appropriate driving record for travel
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending and climbing
• Able to pass customer background screenings and Park Place pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite system diagnostic and analysis support to customers within the territory
• Respond to customers' system failures with hardware testing, diagnostics and systems analysis
• Perform remote and on-site repairs and troubleshooting using diagnostic tools
• Manage inventory accuracy and coordination with parts for service calls
• Complete audit forms, timesheets and expense reports accurately and timely
• Attend team meetings and use Field Point time reporting for activities
