Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN. The role involves traveling to client sites within a 120-mile radius to diagnose, repair, and optimize data center hardware and SAN configurations, with after-hours on-call rotation.

You will handle remote diagnostics, on-site service, and inventory management, while meeting SLA requirements and maintaining strong customer communication. A driving record that meets company policy is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with OEM data center hardware and new product concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and problem analysis.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours, on-call rotation.
• Flexibility to travel within a territory and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite system diagnostic and analysis support to customers within a territory.
• Respond to customer failures with hardware testing, diagnostics, and systems analysis.
• Perform remote and on-site repairs for data center hardware and SAN configurations.
• Manage parts inventory and ensure timely return of bad/excess parts.
• Complete audit forms, timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner.
