Job summary

Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair hardware and software at customer sites. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and training customers on installed systems. Travel to client sites, weekends or nights may be required, and holidays are rotated.

Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are essential. The technician will handle routine maintenance, document work orders, and participate in ongoing trainings

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant Field Services experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver's license and driving record meeting fleet requirements.
• Weekends and nights may be required.
• Holidays rotated; weather conditions may be adverse.

Responsibilities

• Installs, debugs and provides technical maintenance for hardware and software, mainly on customer premises.
• Inspects products for correct operation and resolves issues or escalates as needed.
• Schedules services and completes required paperwork; ensures customer satisfaction with service delivery.
• Performs incident handling using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software failures.
• Performs hardware repairs at the component level and configures/install software.
• Participates in customer training and regular trainings to stay updated.
• Supports KPIs and may assist with special projects.
