Job summary

Prosum seeks a Field Service Engineer in Hillsboro, OR to provide on-site service for semiconductor equipment. You will troubleshoot complex products, respond to service calls, and perform preventative maintenance at customer sites.

Requires 2–5 years of hands-on engineering experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Physics, or Materials Science). Cleanroom exposure and use of tools like oscilloscope and digital voltmeter are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2–5 years of professional engineering experience with hands-on work.
• Experience with semiconductor installation, maintenance, repair, sustaining, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with hand tools, oscilloscope, digital voltmeter.
• Experience in cleanroom environments.
• Nice to have knowledge of photomask, mask inspection, metrology, lithography, optical systems, cameras, lasers and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from customers.
• Determine customer needs or problems and respond accordingly.
• Provide over-the-phone consultation and advice to customers.
• Respond to emergency customer situations.
• Schedule and repair Company’s products at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance on Company products.
• Establish and manage a local maintenance service.
