Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in New York is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services for our technology solutions, ensuring safety and high equipment performance for our customers.

You will conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems, perform installations, document activities, and serve as the on-site contact to address customer needs promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum, preferably with customer-facing exposure.
• Strong focus on customer needs, safety, and adherence to Edwards processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair systems on planned and ad hoc visits.
• Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform installations and ensure safety compliance, documenting activities.
• Be the on-site contact to address customer needs and provide service recommendations.
