VoltaGrid is seeking a Field Safety Manager to provide onsite health, safety, and environmental support during construction and operations on a large microgrid project in San Antonio, TX. This dual-phase role bridges construction and long‑term operations, requiring mastery of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 to ensure seamless transition and a proactive safety culture.

The role leads safety initiatives, supports root cause investigations, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes safe work practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in HSSEQ management and field safety.
• Experience with OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910 and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive safety culture on construction and operational sites.
• Review safety plans, JHAs, and contractor safety programs for compliance.
• Lead root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct field safety audits and daily safety briefings.
• Provide incident reporting and data-driven safety improvements.
• Coordinate with project management and external vendors.
