Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract IT Support Specialist to handle Windows imaging, deployments, and troubleshooting onsite in Hickory, NC. You will assist with workstation upgrades, Imprivata implementations, and remote support tools to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, AD management, and ticketing workflow across a healthcare technology environment. This is a fully onsite, 6-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Experience with desktop support, hardware deployments, and device imaging.
• Familiarity with printer installation, drivers, and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support laptop replacement and deployment projects across multiple locations.
• Assist with workstation upgrades and Imprivata implementations.
• Image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows devices and peripherals.
• Provide hardware and software support for PCs, printers, and related equipment.
• Manage user and computer accounts within Active Directory.
