Job summary

VIVA USA INC. is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for an onsite role in Edenton and surrounding counties. You will support the Service Desk, perform hardware installations, and assist with customer software issues, ensuring reliable IT services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with hardware, software, peripherals, printers, and ServiceNow, with a proven ability to migrate data and profiles as computers are replaced. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Expertise with computer hardware, software, peripherals and components.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and communications.
• Experience with installing/imaging computers and loading software for customers.
• Familiarity with local/network printers and peripherals; configuration as needed.
• Proficient in migrating data and user profiles during PC replacements.
• Proven experience using ServiceNow for ticket tracking and incident management.
• Willingness to travel as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support a high volume of Service Desk requests, hardware installations and customer software support in Edenton and surrounding counties.
• Image and deploy new computers and load appropriate software for customers.
• Install local and network printers and other peripherals and configure them.
• Migrate user data and profiles during computer replacements.
• Collaborate with Data Center Operations for file server data storage, access, and account changes.
