Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer 4 to perform onsite laptop and desktop hardware repairs across the Kansas City metro area.

You will diagnose issues, replace components, and close service tickets at customer locations, traveling regularly between sites and maintaining professional communication with clients. Requirements include at least 1 year of hands-on break-fix experience, Dell hardware repair familiarity, and a valid vehicle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on repair experience with laptops and desktops required.
• Strong hardware diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid insurance; able to travel 2–3 hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite break-fix repairs of laptops and desktops.

• Document service activities and time spent for each ticket.
• Travel between customer sites within the metro area; maintain professional communication.
