Job summary

TRACTIAN is seeking a Field Engineer to represent the company at client sites in the Chicago area. You will install our software and hardware, set up configurations, and ensure long-term success through proactive support and training.

The role combines technical expertise with strong customer service to build trust and reliability across industrial deployments. You will independently evaluate customer environments, design implementation plans, and lead installation projects across multiple

Qualifications

Experience with on-site installations and customer-facing support in tech environments.
Ability to design, document, and communicate installation and maintenance steps.
Proficiency with CRM tools and documenting client interactions.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site installation and configuration of software and hardware solutions.
Design scopes and installation plans for new deployments at client sites.
Advise on sensor network architecture and implementation best practices.
Lead troubleshooting and integration approaches on-site.
Provide on-site technical support and coordinate with teams for delivery and setup.
Train clients and oversee contractors or junior technicians on processes.
Document installation steps and client interactions in HubSpot CRM.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
