Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT seeks a Facilities Systems Electrician for 1st shift on site. You will perform electrical maintenance to support facility operations and ensure safe, reliable services across buildings, grounds, and systems.

Role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and a CT E-2 journeyman certification with NEC knowledge. Onsite work, compliance with safety guidelines, and ability to read diagrams are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years relevant electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Journeyman certification CT E-2 or working knowledge of electrical trades required.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance to support facility operations.
• Install, service, and maintain buildings, grounds, services, and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and work from drawings/sketches.
• Troubleshoot and repair process-critical equipment.
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Support ACE initiatives to achieve ACE Gold and work with CT or supervisors as needed.
