Responsibilities

• Performs assignments under limited supervision and directs the work of employees under the supervision of the supervisor.
• Assumes general responsibility for completion of assignments as directed.
• Determines manpower and material needs and methods to complete tasks.
• Secures materials, supplies, and equipment for electrical work.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs wiring, cables, and electrical equipment for power and lighting.
• Maintains a clean work area and site safety.
• Trains lower labor grade employees.
• Observe safety standards and practices.
• Performs related duties within the job classification.
