Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT is seeking an on-site electrical technician to perform installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in facilities. You will read schematics, use a multimeter, and follow company specifications to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Candidates must hold a Connecticut E2 unlimited Electrical License and have NFPA70E knowledge. This role supports a strict access program and requires on-site presence. RTX benefits apply to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of electricity and electronics, AC/DC systems and code as applied to industrial work.
• Ability to read complex drawings and schematics, perform wire pulling and terminations.
• Must be able to use a multimeter and understand NFPA70E.
• Connecticut E2 unlimited Electrical License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical construction or maintenance work to install and repair electrical systems per specs.
• Follow drawings, plan tasks, obtain tools and services, and ensure supplies are available.
• Communicate changes to operations and support other trades on joint projects.
• Install, maintain and repair systems and carry out preventive maintenance as required.
• May train for hoist maintenance and licenses within trade specialization.
