Job summary

Discovery Lab in Tulsa seeks a Venue & Program Sales Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute events and birthday parties. You will oversee Family STEAM Nights and summer camp registrations and sales, serving as the primary liaison with clients and vendors.

The role supports Discovery Lab's earned-revenue strategy and brand; requires strong communication, multi-tasking, flexible scheduling, and professional rapport with hosts and vendors.

Qualifications

• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in events, hospitality, or related industries.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication, service delivery, and anticipation of needs.
• Highly motivated with the ability to exercise initiative and good judgment, manage rapidly changing priorities, and possess problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with software programs to schedule and communicate information across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales for birthday parties and venue rentals by generating leads, closing bookings, and achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Coordinate with Education and Marketing teams to promote and sell seasonal camp offerings and handle registration.
• Develop and execute a proactive venue sales strategy including outbound outreach and partnerships; maintain sales pipeline and report on booking status and forecasted revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, insurance, and permits.
• Recruit and schedule schools for Family STEAM Night programming and meet sales goals.
• Coordinate with Marketing to market events and ensure branding compliance; manage venue scheduling to avoid conflicts.
