Job summary

Zoo New England is seeking an Events Liaison to oversee venue rentals and onsite events at Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo, coordinating with the Events & Celebrations Team to ensure smooth execution and outstanding guest experiences.

You will work with clients, caterers, vendors and internal departments, enforce facility rules, coordinate AV needs, and manage setup and breakdown to deliver seamless events.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience.

• Creative and able to prioritize tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point-of-contact for internal and external clients, caterers, planners, vendors, guests, and events setup/breakdown staff.
• Maintain welcoming environment and guest service at Zoo New England (Franklin Park Zoo & Stone Zoo).
• Respond promptly to venue clients, vendors, and guests and relay concerns to Events and Celebrations Director.
• Oversee vendor setup, teardown, and cleanup of event spaces.
• Set up events per client specifications and maintain spaces throughout the event.
• Ensure compliance with Zoo New England contracts, rules, and regulations.
• Anticipate and respond to needs of guests and vendors.
• Execute events and secure buildings at the end of events.
• Manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders and staff across locations.
