Job summary

Fooda is a workplace dining platform that brings rotating popup restaurants inside offices. We are hiring a part-time events teammate to support onsite setup, run activities, and act as a back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés. You will help coordinate restaurant access and ensure a high-quality customer experience at our venues.

Ideal candidates are friendly, tech-savvy, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup. Prior catering or serving experience is preferred, and you should be local to the New York

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or serving preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fooda events on-site: setup, teardown, clean equipment, and maintain high-quality service.
• Serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés as needed.
• Coordinate access for restaurants and on-site operations.
• Troubleshoot order or delivery issues and communications.
• Provide real-time on-site customer service to resolve issues promptly.
• Support promotions and coaching for Fooda app usage.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary.
• Hours mainly during lunch (9am–2:30pm) with flexibility to 8am–4pm.
